Patriots Broncos game

This thriller might have topped the Patriots Saints thriller in week 6. (see http://www.jacksonabele.blogspot.com/2013/10/best-game-of-year.html)The 9-1 Broncos took on the 7-3 Patriots, but with these two teams, records cant determine anything. Peyton Manning and Tom Brady have had a huge rivalry for the last 12 years, and this game definitely showed how close that rivalry is.

In the first quarter, Tom Brady and the Patriots looked like they just wouldn't be able to take down the Broncos. Steven Ridley fumbled, and the rest of the team just couldn't get the ball into the end zone, being completely shut down in the first quarter.

I guess Bill Belichek made a good talk at half time, because the Patriots came out very strong.

The game changer was when Tom Brady was finally able to get the ball into the end zone on a great catch by all around player Julian Edelman, making it 24-7 Broncos.

The Patriots then rallied in the second half with three touchdowns; a run from LaGarrent Blount, and throws to Rob Gronkowski and another catch by Julian Edelman.

With three minutes left in the game, the Patriots had the lead 31-24. Peyton looked pretty bad at the moment, blowing a 24 point lead. But he was able to send it into overtime with a throw to Damaryius Thomas.

In overtime, the Broncos won the coin toss, but couldnt drive up the field for a touchdown, and Steven Gostowski hit the game winning field goal for the Patriots win, 34-31.

Games to watch week 12 - Ravens vs Jets

The 5-5 Jets play the 4-6 Ravens today. Star safety Ed Reed returns to play the team that he made his name on for the second time this year, the first time being with the Texans.

The Ravens have shown the offense that was with them in last years super bowl winning team in bits and pieces this year, but they haven't been able to keep it up. Last week against the bears, they got off to a 10-0 lead against the bears in the first quarter, but they couldn't perform for the rest of the game, and lost in overtime.

The Jets have been very up and down throughout the season. They have upset good teams, like the Patriots and the Saints, but lost to bad teams, like the Titans and the Steelers. Overall, Geno Smith is just unpredictable.

They are coming off a loss to the Bills, and now they are tied with the dolphins for second in the AFC east. If Geno smith can keep his head in the game and not turn it over, then the Jets will have a win. But if the Ravens Defense can force Smith to mess up, the Ravens can take the second spot in the AFC north.

Games to watch week 12

1.     Broncos vs Patriots
This will most likely be one of the best games of the year. The 7-3 Patriots are coming off a disappointing and questionable loss against the Panthers. They are hosting the 9-1 Broncos, who after the win against the undefeated Chiefs, look almost unstoppable.

Lots of rivalries are going on in this game, including one of the biggest in the game, Tom Brady against Peyton Manning, Brady has a   9-4 record against Peyton, and has won 2 more super bowls then him.

These stats though, probably wont determine anything. Most of these stats are from when Manning was on the Colts, so this will be a whole new game. Well- not a whole  new game.
Wes Welker on the Patriots

Wes Welker on the Broncos
Another player to watch is Wes Welker, who after some fighting with Patriots coach Bill Belichek last year, packed his bags and went to play for Peyton. Even though he's coming off a concussion, he's going to be very eager to play against the team that gave him his legacy.

This will definetly be a very close game, but I have absolutely no Idea who's going to win. I'd put both Brady and Manning in for fantasy, and also Welker.
